 On November 9, 1998 A-1 Direct Casket Sales, Inc. opened as Tuscaloosa County’s first wholesale casket and funeral outlet store.
The company was founded in August of 1998 by Charles, Donald, Ricky, and Wade Sherrod. The idea to open the store was studied by the brothers for several months and today A-1 Direct Casket Sales, Inc. Funeral and Cremation Advisory Center is a reality.
